Okay....we're in a bit of a holding pattern with Cami. I met with one of the vets on her treatment team and she said that Cam's hip x-rays look beautiful. However, with very little effort, the vet was able to pop Campbell's hips right out of their sockets. That's not a good thing. In looking at her left knee, which seems to be the source of her discomfort, we would the patella tendon to be intact, and a small amount of inflammation in the knee joint. A large amount would have indicated a full rupture of the ACL. It looks like it could be a partial rupture.
So I'm waiting to speak with Dr. Voynick about our course of treatment. We could be in a "wait and see" mode or we could be looking at ACL surgery. Poor Cams....it's never easy for her.
